عصر سه شنبه 28 سپتامبر 2010 شهر زیبای مونترو در سویس شاهد برگزاری مراسم باشکوه تجلیل از اردشیر زاهدی دولتمرد نظام شاهنشاهی که بیش از سی سال است دوران خود تبعیدی را در آن سامان می گذراند، بود.

کشور سویس به عنوان یک سرزمین مستقل و بی طرف همیشه مرکز حل و عقد عمده ترین مسائل و مشکلات بین المللی و کانون برگزاری کنفرانس ها و گردهمایی های سیاسی، اقتصادی و اجتماعی بوده و با ایران نیز در دوران معاصر از زمان تحصیل ولیعهد پهلوی اول در آن کشور تا امروز رابطه فرهنگی و عاطفی داشته و پیوسته مورد نظر و معرض توجه ایرانیان به ویژه دولتمردان نظام پیشین بوده است.
